On November 28, the main line of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link was connected. The Link is scheduled to open to traffic in 2024. Once operational, the driving time between Shenzhen and Zhongshan will be shortened from the current two hours to approximately 30 minutes.

The Bridge has seen 36 million people and 7.5 million vehicles crossing the Zhuhai Port back and forth since its opening on October 23, 2018, according to the latest statistics from the border inspection station.
