The Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage opens on December 11, reducing the travel time between Zhuhai and Jiangmen from over 1 hour to around 30 minutes. Starting in Ping Sha Town, Zhuhai, and ending in Dou Shan Town, Taishan, Jiangmen, the 31-kilometer project includes a 14-kilometer sea-crossing section, built to 6-lane highway standards with a 100 km/h design speed. The passage features two main bridges, including the world's largest span three-tower cable-stayed highway bridge, two tunnels, four interchanges, and one service area. This project is also part of the western extension of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
