According to the report by Zhuhai's health authority, two Macao residents (a couple) had tested positive for COVID-19 on August 2 at a test site in Zhuhai. And the man has tested positive again after a rapid nucleic acid test in Macao and he was under medical observation together with his wife at the Conde S. Januario Hospital.

The husband recently travelled to Zhuhai and Zhongshan, while the wife has no history of travel outside of Zhuhai. The couple's daughter however has visited Xi'an during July 19-24. More details will be released later.

Four bus stations of Zhongshan suspended cross-province shuttle

On August 2, notices came out that, with immediate effect, all cross-province bus shuttles were suspended in four bus stations of Zhongshan including Zhongshan Bus Station, Xiaolan Station, Sanxiang Town Center Bus station, Chengnan Bus Station (中山市汽车总站、小榄车站、三乡镇中心汽车客运站、城南汽车客运站).

Group tours to leave Guangdong suspended in Guangzhou and Huizhou

As per the latest notice by Guangzhou Administration of Culture and Tourism, since August 2, all travel agencies should stop organizing cross-province group tours and suspend reception of group tours from other provinces as well.

Tours are also forbidden for those who have been to medium risk and high risk areas for COVID-19, regions under closed-off risk control, or any COVID-affected regions in 14 days. Group tours to leave Guangdong that haven't set off must cancel or delay their tours immediately.

Recently, Huizhou Administration of Culture and Tourism has also issued a notice, suspending all tours to leave the province organized by travel agencies.
