In the first 11 months of 2024, Guangdong's foreign trade import and export total reached 8.27 trillion yuan, a 10% increase year-on-year, making it the only province among the top ten foreign trade provinces to achieve double-digit growth.

Guangdong's contribution to the national foreign trade growth stands at 40.9%. Among these, AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) enterprises accounted for 46.3% of the province's foreign trade, playing a key role in driving high-quality trade growth.

Currently, Guangdong has 1,996 enterprises with AEO certification, a 9.07% increase from the previous year. These enterprises represent 0.45% of all import-export businesses but account for nearly half of the province's total foreign trade value. Enterprises with AEO certification are granted the highest credit level by customs, enjoying faster clearance, lower inspection rates, and international recognition.

Recently, the Guangdong Sub-Administration of GACC released a set of measures to further enhance trade facilitation and promote foreign trade quality growth, including providing priority credit services to businesses within AEO enterprise groups and their upstream and downstream supply chain partners.

Guangzhou Customs District, P.R. China, has been building a new credit-based customs supervision system, collaborating with local governments to provide targeted credit cultivation for AEO businesses. So far, 41 AEO-certified companies have been cultivated in the automotive supply chain and 47 in the bio-pharmaceutical sector.
