Qingyuan Chimelong Resort nears opening, promises unmissable "surprises"

Chimelong Group has announced the trial opening of the first phase of its Qingyuan Chimelong Resort in early 2025. The new destination, located in Qingyuan, Guangdong Province, is poised to become a major attraction in the province, following the success of Chimelong's Guangzhou and Hengqin resorts.

Qingyuan Chimelong Resort will integrate a theme park, family hotel, cultural performances, dining, entertainment, and hot springs.

Qingyuan Chimelong: A visionary eco-tourism project

Building on Chimelong's existing successes, the Qingyuan resort emphasizes ecological conservation and sustainable development. Located in Qingyuan's Yinzhan Forest Farm (银盏林场), the project prioritizes the protection and relocation of large groups of wild animals.

Chimelong has assembled a global team of experts to balance development with environmental preservation. This includes transforming the forest, rebuilding the local ecosystem, and revitalizing wildlife populations. The establishment of the World Rare Wild Animal and Plant Germplasm Resource Base and the South China Tiger Breeding and Rewilding Base demonstrates this commitment, creating a unique model for integrating biodiversity conservation with tourism.

Qingyuan Chimelong serves as a leading international wildlife conservation center, housing some of the world's largest relocated animal populations, including African elephants, black and white rhinoceroses, and giraffes. The resort has also achieved successful breeding programs for these species.
