"The word trust means a lot. If you feel that you can trust, then you want to share. When you want to share, and with the feeling of trust, then friendship starts. And I think it's all about friendship, trust, and sharing."
Jesper von Wieding, Owner & Strategic Creative Director of N96 from Copenhagen, Denmark, shared with GDToday his opinion on the theme of the Guangzhou Design Triennial 2024: The Warm - Beings. "I think that's eventually what we are doing today. I think it's what the project shows. It shows that element of trust."

Wieding attended the Academic Conference and the Opening Ceremony of the Triennial on January 16 and 17. At the Academic Conference, he joined his peers from different countries to explore the topic "Design as Social Motion".
The Danish designer believes what designers are doing is making the world better, showing compassion, humanity and caring through design projects. He also considers the Triennial as an important platform for designers to create synergy, which creates differences.
The Guangzhou Design Triennial 2024 is currently underway at the Guangdong Museum of Art (GDMoA) and runs until May 31.
