Starting from April 14, the route from Pazhou, Guangzhou, to China Hong Kong City, Hong Kong SAR, at Pazhou Ferry Terminal will be put into trial operation.
Pazhou Ferry Terminal to issue visas on arrival during the 133rd Canton Fair
The Pazhou Ferry Terminal in Haizhu district of Guangzhou, which is about 8 minutes walk from the Canton Fair Complex, will be temporarily open during the upcoming Canton Fair. The visa-on-arrival service will also be available at the Terminal from April 15, said Luo Zheng, deputy director of Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau, at a press conference held on April 12.
On-site international flight check-in service available at 133rd Canton Fair
China Southern Airlines, together with Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, will launch the on-site international flight check-in service for the upcoming Canton Fair, according to the Airlines on April 10. The service counter will be set up at the Canton Fair Complex. Passengers taking international flights with China Southern Airlines can check in on the spot. In addition, some domestic routes also provide check in at the Canton Fair Complex.
Guangzhou Metro offers extra services for the 133rd Canton Fair
With the 133rd Canton Fair fully resuming offline exhibition from April 15 to May 5, Guangzhou Metro will launch extra services for passengers' travel. On weekdays, Line 8 will have a maximum of 38 trains in operation, with two more during peak time in the morning and evening, seven more during the daytime, and two more during the evening. On weekends, Line 8 will have a maximum of 31 trains in operation, with eight, seven and two trains added during the high, medium and low peak periods, respectively.
