On June 1, the Consulate General of Italy in Guangzhou held a reception to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Italian Republic at the Four Seasons Hotel in Guangzhou.
The celebration is also a sign of gratitude of the Consulate General towards Guangdong goverment, Chinese friends and Italian community who have actively promoted cooperation and exchanges between China and Italy.
As 2022 marks the China-Italy Year of Culture and Tourism, Lucia Pasqualini, Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, also made a special mention of the ongoing events available in town that allow people to get a glimpse of the charm of both China and Italy. These events include the Sino-Italian co-production film "The Italian Recipe" which will hit the big screen starting from this weekend, the Italian food photography exhibition "EDO, ERGO SUM" underway at the Guangzhou Library till mid June, and an Italian children's illustration exhibition at the library and its branches till October this year.
