Located on the coast of eastern Guangdong, Shantou is accelerating the development of its offshore wind power industry to create new opportunities for the blue economy. By the end of 2025, three major offshore wind farms—Datang Nan'ao Lemen I, Huaneng Lemen II, and the Datang Lemen I Extension—are expected to be completed, with a combined installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts, reinforcing Guangdong's leading position nationwide.
