The Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Investment (Guangdong) Conference will be held in Guangzhou from February 24 to 25 with about 600 participants, according to a press conference held on February 21. Overseas Chinese entrepreneurs are full of confidence in participating in Guangdong's high-quality development, said Yan Ke, Director General of Guangdong Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

"What attracts me most about Guangdong is a more innovative investment philosophy, a more relaxed investment environment, and better investment services," said Lin Huiyong, President of the US Chao-Shan Chamber of Commerce.

"Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) has achieved noticeable results in building sci-tech innovation platforms. We have seen many overseas Chinese scientists and entrepreneurs pay great attention to the sci-tech policies in GBA," said Matthew Chong, member of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Chairman of GBA Innovation Think Tank, when sharing with GDToday before the Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Investment (Guangdong) Conference (February 24 to 25).

In 2022, the import and export value of nine Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) mainland cities recorded 7.94 trillion RMB, accounting for 95.6 percent of the total of Guangdong Province and 18.9 percent of the whole of China, according to statistics from Guangdong Sub-administration of General Administration of Customs (GACC).

Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong province, has been on the road to high-quality development.

Guangdong will accelerate the building of a high-quality comprehensive and fully integrated transportation network, according to a work conference held by the Department of Transport of Guangdong Province recently.
