1,000 orange taxis to serve soon

1000 taxis will be added to ease the difficulty to catch one during the rush hour.

The new taxis will run between 7am to 7:30pm every day, strictly monitored by GPS. In the rest period, taxis won't be able pick up customers. After 19:30, the cars must return to their car-parks within two hours (allowing for filling up with gas, cleaning and maintenance.

The new taxis have all now gained their taxi licenses. The new taxis will be noticeable by their orange color with a wavy silver gray ribbon along the side. Their lights on top are petal shaped to remind us of Guangzhou's fame as the "City of Flowers."
