On April 23rd, the second phase of the 135th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) commenced, featuring three professional sections: building materials and furniture, household items, and gifts and decorations, across 15 exhibition areas. The latest in-home goods showcased at the fair emphasize smart and eco-friendly innovations.

By 5:00 p.m. on April 23rd, offline attendance by foreign buyers reached 156,927, representing 213 countries and regions worldwide, marking a 21.2% increase compared to the previous session.

From stylish kitchens and bathrooms to AI-empowered smart home setups and trendy home decor items, the Area B of the Canton Fair saw leading Chinese home brands unveiling their latest products. They are here to seek business opportunities, attracting a steady stream of global buyers for consultations.

With the continuous advancement of technology, smart home products are gradually becoming the market's favorites. Consumers' demand for home products no longer solely focuses on functionality but also seeks integration with modern lifestyles through intelligence and personalization. In line with this trend, Guangdong-based enterprises showcased their latest technological products, with new quality productive forces driving the expansion of global markets and the securing of orders.

Electric pepper grinders, compact coffee grinders, electric wine openers... At the booth of Zhuhai Kelitong Electric Co., Ltd. (referred to as"KLT"), sleek and minimalist-designed"gadgets" catch the eye. With deep insights into consumer needs, KLT recently launched an electric grinder set, featuring a two-in-one combination for salt and pepper grinding, solving consumers' seasoning grinding issues with a palm-sized product.

The Chinese home building materials industry, which carries the aspirations of countless families for a better home life, serves as a crucial vehicle for achieving the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Within the booths of the Canton Fair, green and low-carbon features have become major selling points for manufacturers. At the booth of Guangdong Magic Stone Environmental Protection Building Materials Co., Ltd., a wave-shaped rock panel caught the attention of journalists. The company's spokesperson explained that these panels can be bent into various shapes. They are mainly composed of clay and stone powder, produced through high-temperature compression.

From the perspective of industrial transformation, green building materials possess significant potential for carbon emission reduction and vast market prospects. Green has become the most eye-catching color among building material companies at the Canton Fair. The spokesperson for Huizhou Weikang New Building Materials Co., LTd. stated, "We have discovered that European countries are increasingly demanding green and low-carbon flooring. Products like PVC flooring may face heavy tariffs for export in the future. Therefore, we are intensifying our efforts to develop recyclable and green products such as PET flooring. Last year, we successfully launched such products."
