On April 26, the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra (GSO) and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport renewed their strategic cooperation framework agreement at the Sky Stage of Terminal 2, continuing their collaboration on the "Musical Terminal" initiative.

Since the inception of the "Musical Terminal" at Terminal 2 three years ago, GSO's music has been showcased through various formats including musical salons, flashmob performances, online music studios, and custom-made playlists for travelers. People can also scan QR codes from posters at boarding gates to listen to live recordings of the orchestra's performances.

Depending on the characteristics of T2 and significant festive periods, the orchestra frequently updates its audio and video content.
Hu Jian, the principal trumpeter of the GSO and a member of the GSO Brilliant Brass Quintet, who has performed four times at Terminal 2, said that such performances were meaningful and that he hopes they could bring joy and ease to travelers' journeys.

In the future, the collaboration will extend from Terminal 2 to both Terminal 1 and 2, upgrading the "GSO@T2" project to "GSO@CAN." GSO and the airport will join hands to create music-themed installations and strengthen efforts in music education and outreach, bringing a more cultural experience to the public.
