Only a short while ago, the sentence pattern of “Somebody or something from the star” is all the rage among streets and lanes in China. Due to the tremendous success of “My Love from the Star”, Korean TV series has once again succeeded in winning affection of Chinese audiences. But maybe few one knows that Chinese culture is also adding its appeal among youths in Republic of Korea (ROK) now. It attracts a growing number of Korean students to study in China.

Student, model, actor

“When I studied in Korea, some companies would call me and took some pictures with me. I sometimes worked as a model and I also shot some short videos.”

James Kim, studied in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) as an exchange student, is a sunny boy with perfect smile. Before starting the interview, he showed the reporter some episodes of his videos.

“I like acting. I still don’t know what I’m going to do in the future, but if I have chance to shoot more videos or movies as an actor, I’ll do my best”.

With a hearty laugh, Kim is very confident with his future life even he’s now lingering around the three different identities.
