The Cuisine Integrating Asian Games Elements

Last weekend, the Tianhe Activity Week of the Asian Games Gourmet Festival was started in the atriums of the fourth and the fifth floor of Grandview Plaza in Tianhe District.The Grandview Plaza is the main activity area of the festival. Plenty of exhibits are now ready for people to go and visit. The sub area of the festival is located at the Tiyu Dong Business Food Street and covers over 130 catering establishments within its perimeter zone, providing enough food for visitors to enjoy. Activities in the sub area will last until December 20.

It is reported that the 27 catering enterprises attending the exhibition in the main area cover the styles of cooking such as Cantonese cuisine, Chaozhou cuisine, Northwest cuisine, French cuisine and the western food. People can go to get the giftware to their liking such as the Crispy Chicken Biscuit of Bingsheng Food Co., Ltd.

For convenience, the government of Tianhe District has printed 70,000 copies of Tianhe Food Map which are available for free in catering establishments, restaurants, superstore, streets and communities. In addition, citizens and visitors can also seek for the gourmet food along the three one-day tourist route specially arranged for ease of shopping during the Gourmet Festival; especifically the New Axis Food in the Flower City, the Gourmet Recreation Shinkansen, and the Greenway Culture Tasting in the Flower City.
