Capybaras, central bearded dragons, toco toucans, cats, dogs, hamsters, and more animals are going to meet you at the Grandview Mall in Guangzhou's Tianhe District! As the May Day holiday approaches, the mall has rolled out a series of animal-themed activities, together with performances and amusement facilities to enrich your holiday.
The month-long "Super Pet Festival" will be a highlight among the holiday events. Starting on May 1, Grandview Mall will launch over 100 activities such as a pet sports meet, an animal parade, and a creative bazaar. An animal flash mob will be held from May 1 to 5, while a dog beauty contest, pet haircut contest, pet fashion show, and pet wedding are also worth a visit.
In addition, at other venues of the mall like Grandview Science Museum and Planetarium, Grandview Museum of Natural Science, and Grandview Rainforest Ecological Botanical Garden, tourists can also see beluga whales and penguins, bathe the capybara, interact with sloths, and watch mermaid shows. Several popularization activities about dinosaurs will be available as well at the Grandview Museum of Natural Science.
It is worth noting that the mall offers discount tickets and coupons for the public until May 7. Furthermore, people with Canton Fair badges can also enjoy particular discounts at different venues, while those who spend over 200 yuan can enjoy 30 yuan off with overseas UnionPay cards.
