As the Valentine's Day is approaching, flowers seem to be the most popular and sweetest gift for the lovers. And there is a trend that the price of flowers will certainly rise on that day, reserving in advance can save money.
The west section of Danan Road, near Beijing Road in Yuexiu district, is famous for selling flowers and is complimented as flower street. In the ordinary days, a bunch of tulips can be sold at around RMB 288. But on the Valentine's Day, the price will increase by more than RMB 100. Popular flowers like red rose and artificial-colored blue rose are priced higher on that day too.
