Sources from the China Southern Airlines said that two nonstop flights —— Guangzhou to Phuket and Guangzhou to Siem Reap (Angkor Thom) —— are to be opened on July 10th and 12th. Phuket, the largest island in Thailand, is one of the famous vacation resorts in Southeast Asia. With this nonstop flight, passengers can save a lot of time and money by flying there without transfers at Hong Kong or Bangkok as they used to. At 22:30 on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, the plane marked with CZ3051/2 takes off and arrives at Phuket at 00:45. Then, it flies back at 01:35 and returns to Guangzhou at 05:50 (the schedule is based on local time of Guangzhou). As a provincial capital, Siem Reap is Cambodia's famous tourist attraction where the well-known Angkor Wat is surrounded by tropical rain forests. Since July 12th 2007, a plane marked with CZ3053/4 will take off at 09:00 on every Thursday and Sunday and arrive at Siem Reap at 10:35. The plane then will leave Siem Reap at 11:25 and return to Guangzhou at 15:10 (the schedule is based on local time of Guangzhou).
