Guangdong, Sichuan seek further cooperation- China - News Brief

Sichuan is Guangdong's largest business partner in the west China. "Since 2000, the two province has signed contracts on 1634 projects, with a total investment about 170.3 billion RMB", said Zhang Dejiang, secretary of the Guangdong provincial Party committee, when he met with Du Qinglin, Party secretary of Sichuan yesterday in Guangzhou. "Some 262 projects contracts valued 61.5 billion RMB are signed in the Pan-PRD forum."

Du and a Sichuan delegation visited Guangdong and held a forum with Guangdong province in Guangzhou on Sep.9 to seek further cooperation and exchange, especially in the fields of IT, manufacturing and service industry.
