| On October 18th, the China Center for Headquarters Economy Research, of the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, released its Annual Report on China's Headquarters Economy (2009-2010).
According to the report, which re-ranked the seats of 35 major cities in China in terms of the developmental capacity for headquarters economies, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Qingdao and Wuhan are rated the top ten cities in the category.
There are 35 cities categorized into four levels. The first level includes Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen; the second level includes Hangzhou, Nanjing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Qingdao, Wuhan and Ningbo; and the rest are categorized into the third level and the fourth levels.
