Spring arrives early in Lingnan, where diligence turns soil into treasure. Zhaoqing's Gaoyao District plans to plant 97,688 acres of spring crops in 2025, including 43,128 acres of grain and 7,104 acres of cash crops.
The planting area of early rice is expected to reach 40,854 acres, and it is estimated that about 20,000 sets of agricultural machinery will be put into use, with a machine-ploughing rate of 99.5% and a machine-transplanting level of 60%.
