"Since China and Fiji signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative in 2018, the bilateral cooperation in such fields as infrastructure, health care, culture, and education has been continuously strengthened, building a bridge of friendship and mutual understanding in the hearts of the people of the two countries," said Zhou Jian, Chinese ambassador to Fiji, in a recent interview with GDToday in Suva, the capital city of Fiji.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative's proposal. In the exclusive interview, Zhou reviewed the cooperation between China and Fiji and looked forward to the prospect of the bilateral collaboration.
