Recently, Guangdong Intercity Railway has updated its online system map. Building upon the original Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway and Guangzhou East Ring Intercity Railway lines, the map has added specific stations for the Guangzhou-Zhaoqing Intercity Railway and Guangzhou-Huizhou Intercity Railway.

The Guangzhou-Zhaoqing Intercity Railway and Guangzhou-Huizhou Intercity Railway aim to achieve integrated operation of intercity railway lines this year, including the Foshan-Zhaoqing Line, Guangzhou-Foshan South Ring Line, Foshan-Dongguan Intercity Railway, and Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity Railway. Among them, the Foshan-Zhaoqing and Dongguan-Huizhou intercity railways were taken over by Guangdong Intercity Railway for operation in January of this year. The Guangzhou-Foshan South Ring Line and Foshan-Dongguan intercity railway started trial operation on March 26, indicating that the official opening is approaching.
The style of the new railway system map is more similar to that of the Guangzhou Metro system map. Additionally, the updated Guangdong Intercity Railway system map has added a green map as its background and introduced new transfer signs for intercity interchange stations and exits before transfer.
