The 136th Canton Fair is scheduled to be held in Guangzhou in three phases from October 15 to November 4. During the fair, Zhaoqing and Shaoguan in Guangdong Province are offering special discounts at scenic spots, homestays, star-rated hotels, and travel agencies for Canton Fair participants.

During the Canton Fair, merchants and staff with valid Canton Fair credentials can enjoy the following benefits in Zhaoqing: free entry to Cat Claw Valley Scenic Area (猫爪谷景区), Ziyun Valley Scenic Area (紫云谷景区), and Fantasy Wonderland (梦幻奇趣园); a 50% discount on entry to Bagua (literally meaning the Eight Trigrams) Scenic Area in Licha Ancient Village (黎槎古村八卦景区).
Cat Claw Valley is located in Huilong Town, Gaoyao District, and features attractions like pet-themed art, interactive experiences, lakeside camping homestays, plant and animal farming, fruit and vegetable picking, seasonal flower fields, and water sports activities.

Ziyun Valley, located in Yankeng Village, Jindu Town, Gaoyao District, is a national 3A-rated scenic area known for its beautiful landscapes, excellent ecological conditions, and air rich in negative ions.

Licha Ancient Village (Bagua Village), in Huilong Town, Gaoyao District, is a traditional Chinese village and a living museum of Cantonese culture, also rated 3A. The village is built against the mountains, with water as its main artery, houses as its walls, and stones as its foundation. The entire village is named for its layout, which resembles the Bagua (Eight Trigrams) symbol.

Other attractions in Zhaoqing include: Deqing Wubi Health Wine Museum (德庆无比养生酒业博物馆), Deqing Chaoding Mountain Tea Park (德庆巢顶山茶业公园), and Guangning Oil Tea Culture Expo Garden (广宁油茶文化博览园), all offering free admission year-round. Bicuihu Resort (碧翠湖度假村) in Guangning, which provides a 30% discount on tickets and free access to the Bamboo Museum (竹博馆). Panlong Gorge Scenic Area (盘龙峡景区) in Deqing offers discounted tickets for its rafting experience and free admission to the main scenic area.
Several hotels, homestays, and tourism companies are also offering discounts on dining, accommodations, and activities, with room discounts as low as 45%.

During the period from October 10 to November 10, 2024, merchants and buyers participating in the Canton Fair can enjoy a one-time free admission to four scenic spots in Shaoguan by presenting their Canton Fair credentials. These scenic spots include Danxia Mountain Scenic Area (丹霞山景区) in Renhua County, Zhuji Ancient Alley, and Meiguan Ancient Road (珠玑古巷·梅关古道景区) in Nanxiong City, Mantang Hakka Enclosed House Scenic Area (满堂客家大围景区) in Shixing County, and Longwangtan Ecotourism Area (乐昌市龙王潭生态旅游区) in Lechang City.
Danxia Mountain is among the first Global Geopark, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, and a National Nature Reserve. It consists of three scenic areas: Danxia Mountain, Dashi Mountain, and Shaoshi Mountain. The reddish cliffs made of red sandstone, which resembles the color of cinnabar, and the brilliance of the sunrise glow set it apart from other mountains, attracting countless visitors.
Zhuji Ancient Alley, located in Zhuji Village, Nanxiong City, is one of the top three ancestral homelands in China and is known as "Guangdong's First Alley". It is the birthplace of many Cantonese people and holds significant importance in Lingnan's cultural history.
Meiguan Ancient Road, also known as Yuling Ancient Post Road, crosses the provinces of Guangdong and Jiangxi and was the shortest land route connecting the Yangtze River and Pearl River systems in ancient times. It is one of the best-preserved ancient post roads in China.
Mantang Hakka Enclosed House in Shixing County is one of the largest Hakka walled houses in Guangdong and is hailed as "Lingnan's First Enclosed House". Its architectural layout combines the ancient northern castle and courtyard styles, integrating both ancient and modern Hakka architectural features.
Longwangtan in Lechang City is a natural haven, praised as a "cool retreat in mountain gorges and a natural oxygen bar for health". The valley features significant elevation drops, with numerous waterfalls forming picturesque pools, creating a breathtaking sight.
