During the seven-day National Day holiday, the Guangzhou Museum of Art presents a series of exhibitions and artistic events. Here are some recommendations for you to enjoy the charm of traditional Chinese culture at the museum.
Work of Nature in Blue-and-green Landscape: Research Exhibition on Colours of Landscape Painting
From now till November 23, "Work of Nature in Blue-and-green Landscape: Research Exhibition on Colours of Landscape Painting" is underway at the Museum. Over 40 landscape paintings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties are on display, showcasing the history of this genre of Chinese traditional fine art.

A Retrospective Exhibition of the Lingnan School of Painting: Bird and Flower Painting
The exhibition will showcase masterpieces of birds and flowers by famous Lingnan-school painting masters, including founders of the school Gao Jianfu, Gao Qifeng and Chen Shuren, as well as its other outstanding representatives such as Guan Shanyue, Li Xiongcai and Zhao Shaoang. If you are fond of Lingnan school paintings and paintings of birds and flowers, don't miss out on this exhibition.

Along with the People: Exhibition in Commemoration of the 110th Birthday Anniversary of Guan Shanyue
The exhibition in commemoration of the 110th birthday anniversary of Lingnan-school painting master Guan Shanyue is underway until October 30, presenting the collection of four institutions including Guangzhou Museum of Art and Guan Shanyue Art Museum of Shenzhen.
Furthermore, the Museum organizes other activities, such as comic strip creation, a curatorial concept sharing event, and a lecture on Guan's paintings.
