In addition, it will optimize the expressway grid of the eastern Guangdong and strengthen the integration of Guangdong into the country’s traffic network.

Ningbo-Dongguan Expressway starts in Ningbo city in Yangzi River Delta before terminating at Dongguan city in Pearl River Delta. With the Chaozhou East Branch Line in place, it will be connected with Shenyang-Haikou expressway, passing through cities like Shanghai, Ningbo, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
