Concert highlighting golden hits of classic wuxia films
In this concert, the Guangdong National Orchestra will present a brand new arrangement with 14 instrumental parts, performing over a dozen classic theme songs of Chinese wuxia (literally meaning “martial heroes”) films such as "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer" and "Once Upon a Time in China," allowing the audience to relive the enchanting world of martial arts and fantasy.

2024 Guangzhou New Year Concert
Hosted by the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, the Guangzhou New Year Concert has been held for 32 sessions so far, becoming the longest-running city New Year concert brand in China.
This concert will take place on January 1, 2024, under the baton of Huang Yi, the music director of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. Featuring seven distinguished musicians, including world-renowned baritone Matthias Goerne, soprano Zhang Meigui, percussionists Chen Zuohui and Fu Yifei, erhu player Lu Yiwen, and flutist Li Xiaoxi, it will present a musical extravaganza to the audience.
