The second phase of 107th Canton Fair ended yesterday (April 27). Of the 446 complaints received by the organizers between April 15 and April 24, 232 were related to copyright issues.

Amongst the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) infringement issues, most complaints concern rogue companies copying products and stealing patents. Sanrio, Honda and other companies were investigating on the fair and collecting evidence. Some export companies have now chosen not to sell their products on the domestic markets to avoid Chinese companies stealing their ideas.
