Serbian international student's impression on Canton Fair: promoting business and friendship

On April 24th, Doki, an international student from Serbia, studying at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, was invited through an international communication project by Yangcheng Evening News, "I See China", to explore "quality home life" at the Canton fair with the reporter.

The second phase of the 135th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) covers three professional categories: building and furniture, housewares, gifts, and decorations across 15 exhibition sections. Upon entering the exhibition hall, Doki spotted a straw cup matching her hair color. To explore the category of building and furniture, she visited the booth of MLILY, experiencing various sofas and praising their comfort: "So comfortable that I feel like lying down immediately!"

At the fair, the area of 3D printing companies like Riton, Modelbot, and Smart attracted many overseas buyers. Doki also joined the queue to take photos, marveling at the ceramic 3D printing process and the delicate touch of 3D printed jewelry. However, what astonished her the most were the overseas buyers. "The large number of people here for business left a deep impression on me. The overseas buyers I saw were all focused, heading straight for their goals without distractions."

During her tour, Doki encountered patient and hospitable exhibitors, met a Chinese classmate interning, and helped overseas buyers take photos. She expressed, "I love the cultural diversity here. Because people from all over the world come here to travel, do business, and meet different people, I think the Canton Fair not only brings people together for business but also fosters long-term relationships, whether as business partners or friends."
