Guangdong, Poland ties reach a new level

Guangdong, the biggest business partner of East, Middle Europe, hopes to strengthen ties with Poland through highlighting cooperation in areas of advanced manufacturing and technology, education and tourism.

In a bid to deepen partnership to a new level, Mrs. Zhao Yufang, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province will lead a delegation comprised of enterprise representatives to visit Poland at the end of this June.









Polish Ambassador to China : Guangdong and Poland to know each other better

"I have many friends in Guangdong, not only for work, but personal friends. People in Guangdong are very business-oriented, but they also very nice." said Mr. Tadeusz Chomicki, the Polish Ambassador to China.

The second Poland-China Regional Forum was held in Dong Fang Hotel of Guangzhou yesterday. Taking this opportunity, we had an interview with Mr. Chomicki, an old friend of Guangdong. During the interview, he opened his heart and raised many transcend idea on Guangdong's current internationalization process.



Foshan porcelain to woo the Polish

On June 10, 2014, the formal sistership city agreement was finally established between Foshan, Guangdong Province and Starogard Gdanski in Poland. Mr. Edmund Stachowicz, the president of Starogard Gdanski city, talked about the past and future cooperations between two cities. 





Poland-Guangdong Relationship: Growing But Just the Beginning

Last year, against the backdrop of economic downturn, the trade volume between Guangdong and Poland still exceeded 2.9 billion USD, up to 8,67%, accounting for 1/5 of the total trade volume between Poland and China.

The two nations currently export and import – both ways – food products, textiles and chemicals. One of Krzysztof's aims has been to initiate more communication between businesses and build partnerships. Events such as the second 'China-Poland Regional Forum' that will take place on June 10th, is a potential hub to accommodate exchanges and co-operations. Highlighting its importance as an international trader, Guangzhou will play host to this forum!
