Anti-corruption themed play to be re-staged with 10 shows

An original play focusing on anti-corruption was staged at the Guangdong Arts Theater in Guangzhou from April 29 to 30. 

Based on a true story, the play was produced by the Guangdong Performing Arts Co., Ltd. and created by national first-class scriptwriter Li Xinhua. It tells the story of how a corrupt official drags the whole family into misery.

So far, the play has been performed in Guangzhou with five shows, attracting around 6,000 audience. It will be put on stage for another 10 shows from May 27 to 31.

In addition, two other plays highlighting young local revolutionaries will be presented at the Guangdong Arts Theater in July and later this year, respectively.
