Life in Guangzhou, begins with bad impression
Kim now has a quite enjoyable study life in Guangzhou, but few one knows, his first impression of Guangzhou is not so good.
“Before I came to Guangzhou as an exchange student, I stayed here for one night because flight stops over. At that time the weather was incredibly hot and humid, so my first impression of Guangzhou wasn’t good.
But after start to live in Guangzhou, he changed his mind.
“Now I like heavy rain and breezy day in Guangzhou but still I don't like that hot weather, it feels like living right next to volcano.”
In the city, Kim also has some favorite places to hang out.
“I think Guangzhou is beautiful, especially the Pearl River. Tianhe is my favorite place in the city. I often have meals with friends near school or go clubbing near Pearl River.”
However, like most of the Chinese university students, Kim has his issue in daily life and future.
“The hardest thing is mind control. In China, I feel I am far away from peer pressure that could push me forward to study hard.”
Apart from slight obstacles, joy and amusement are the themes of Kim’s study life in China. Actually, hurdles would always exist in one’s lifetime. As long as you treat it with good hope, accept it with love, you will always find some delight. For historic and prospective link between ROK and China, that’s the orientation.
