Antimony, the first international book about antimony was from Dongguan, Guangdong, written by Wang Chongyou.

Wang Chongyou was born in Hong Kong in 1878, whose ancestral home was Dongguan of Guangdong province. His English monograph Antimony, one of Griffin series, was published by Charles Griffin publishing Co., LTD in 1909. The well-known monograph comprehensively introduced the history, property, geology, metallurgy, analysis, application and economic evaluation of antimony. Its second and third edition were later separatively published in 1919 and 1952, as the authority of antimony by metallurgy industry.

Due to his great contribution to the research of Antimony, he was globally renowned as the King of Antimony. His academic achievements won him the medal from Columbia University and the medal of honor from AIMME.
