The 2022 Graduation Exhibition of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA) officially kicked off on May 19 at its art museum.
Featuring the theme "Us", the primary vision of the exhibition comprises of dense personal images of more than 1,600 art graduates from 10 schools, as well as GAFA souvenirs such as Bing Dwen Dwen, which was designed and created by a 14-person team from GAFA.
Due to the epidemic, this year's exhibition is presented in a combination of online and offline methods. The offline exhibition is currently only open to on-campus students.
The works of graduates with bachelor degrees will be shown in two stages at the University Town Campus starting from May 25. While the works of graduates with master degrees will be displayed in three stages at the Changgang Campus and commenced on May 19. The first stage is presenting the graduation creations of the School of Painting and Drawing and the School of Sculpture and Public Art.
