Recently, lotus in Guangdong's Jiangmen city are in full bloom. Spanning hundreds of beautiful acres, most ponds in the city are filled with ranks of lotus flowers and leafs. Visitors can take a stroll beside the river, relax on the shoreline, or listen to the sounds of birds chirping in the distance.
Away from the crowds, the serene and peaceful setting is ideal for enjoying nature at its best.
There are mainly two large lotus viewing places in Jiangmen: Liangxi Ancient Village (良溪古村) and Jianghai Urban Agricultural Ecological Park (江海都市农业生态公园). Besides the two places, make sure to check out other scenic spots in this interesting city.
Liangxi Ancient Village (良溪古村)
Liangxi Village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, like a retreat away from the world. Unique culture naturally grows in the region. In Liangxi Ancient Village, you can visit ancient Chinese arches, ancestral halls and other architectures from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Authentic and delicious food in the village are also recommended.

Rainbow Village (彩虹村)
There is a colorful rainbow village near Jianghai Urban Agricultural Ecological Park, formerly known as "Hengkeng Village (横坑村)". It is a place that camera loves.

Lidong Food Street (礼东美食街)
There are many farming restaurants in Jiangmen's Jianghai District, where Jianghai Urban Agricultural Ecological Park is located, forming a food street. Restaurants such as Chaihuo Nongzhuang (柴火农庄) and Heyuan Nongzhuan (和苑农庄) are recommended.
