Vision is not the only sense in the world of coffee. Most of the employees of Brew Heart Coffee are visually impaired. These baristas are trained and certified, and their sensitive sense of smell, touch and taste is the secret of making a cup of fragrant coffee.
This cafe was established by the Guangzhou Tree of Life Disabilities Innovation Center. In recent years, over 100 people with visual impairment have participated in the training provided by this charity to learn coffee-making skills, and some of them went on to become baristas or open their own cafes.
