Zhenhao Mud Chicken Cultural Center—Kaiping Museum—Li Garden—Echeng Food Plaza in Kaiping, Jiangmen
Stop 1: Zhenhao Mud Chicken Cultural Center (镇濠泥鸡文化中心)
Zhenhao mud chicken is a kind of clay-made toy with a history of over 100 years. The toy looks like a rooster and can make the sound of crowing, hence the name. The mud chicken usually has a rustic appearance and exquisite workmanship. It is deeply loved by local residents and tourists. In 2017, Zhenhao mud chicken was listed into the sixth batch of intangible cultural heritage in Jiangmen.

Stop 2: Kaiping Museum (开平博物馆)
In addition to the World Heritage site Kaiping Diaolou and Villages, Kaiping Art Museum is also a hidden paradise for art lovers in Jiangmen. It has a rich collection of exhibits recording the history and lives of overseas Chinese.
From March 1 to May 12, a folk custom exhibition will be held at the Museum. It is divided into seven parts - farming, characteristics cuisine, clothing, marriage, festival activities, traditional crafts and the spread of the western culture.
In the exhibition, foreign farm tools, western-style clothes, special wedding customs such as "cock worship," all can reflect the specific social phenomena of the 1920s in Guangdong.

Stop 3: Li Garden (立园)
Li Garden is a garden villa built in the 20th century by Xie Weili, an overseas Chinese living in the United States. It integrates the charm of classical gardens with the architectural style of villas popular in Western countries at that time, showing the unique beauty of architectural art.

Stop 4: Echeng Food Plaza (鹅城)
If you want to try authentic Jiangmen food, do not miss the Echeng Food Plaza. Covering an area of 10,000 square meters and offering1,300 tables at the same time, Echeng Food Plaza is home to a large banquet hall, a fisherman's Wharf, a food street and a Chikan arcade street. It was designed in a rural style of the 1930s, and offers various mouth-watering snacks.
