Update | Another 3 international flights to Guangzhou suspended

From April 11th to 18th, three international flights to Guangzhou were suspended by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ312 from Toronto, Canada arriving in Guangzhou, China on March 26th, which has led to a one-week suspension of the flight, starting from April 18th.

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ682 from Seoul, South Korea arriving in Guangzhou, China on March 27th. Since CZ3062 is the reward flight of CZ682 (Seoul to Shenyang), this has led to a two-week suspension for CZ3062,starting from April 25th, 2022.

Nine passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KE865 from Seoul, South Korea arriving in Guangzhou, China on March 30th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from April 25th.

Eight passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KE865 from Seoul, South Korea arriving in Guangzhou, China on April 6th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from May 9th.

The quota for these above-mentioned flights shall not be used for other routes. CAAC also requires those airlines to provide services, such as passenger comfort, ticket refunds, and changes on subsequent flights, in line with the requirement of local embassies or consulates.
