Here are the details:

On February 4, CAAC announced the suspension of three international flights, including two to Guangzhou.

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight W5081 from Teheran, Iran arriving in Guangzhou, China on January 24, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from February 14, 2022.

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight SV884 from Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia, arriving in Guangzhou, China on January 27, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from February 28, 2022.

From February 7 to February 8, CAAC announced that four international fights to Guangzhou will be suspended due to confirmed COVID-19 cases.

On January 29, seven passengers on flight SU220 of Russian Airlines from Moscow, Russia to Guangzhou, China tested positive for COVID-19, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from February 14, 2022.

On January 31, 12 passengers on flight W5081 of Mahan Air from Teheran, Iran to Guangzhou, China tested positive for COVID-19, which led to a four-week suspension for the flight, starting from February 28, 2022.

On February 2, 11 passengers on flight TK72 of Turkish Airlines from Istanbul, Turkey to Guangzhou, China tested positive for COVID-19, which led to a four-week suspension for the flight, starting from February 21, 2022.

On February 5, 21 passengers on flight SU220 of Russian Airlines from Moscow, Russia to Guangzhou, China tested positive for COVID-19, which led to a four-week suspension for the flight, starting from February 28, 2022.

Quota for these above-mentioned flights shall not be used for other routes. CAAC also requires those airlines to provide services, such as passenger comfort, ticket refunds and changes on subsequent flights, in line with the requirement of local embassies or consulates.
