The international cargo route will be undertaken by Boeing 777 all-cargo aircrafts of Qatar Airways on a weekly basis.

The route opening will connect Dubai and Doha, the two major cargo hubs in the middle east. And the number of cargo flights from Shenzhen to the middle east will increase to seven a week.

Shenzhen-Doha is the 1st international cargo route launched by Shenzhen after the policies of supporting air cargo development were introduced recently, as well as the 2nd regular international cargo flight opened by the Airport this year.

This will effectively help Shenzhen Airport to expand its aviation networks to Europe, Africa, Australia, and South America and build an air cargo channel linking Europe, America, and Australia.

Shenzhen Airport has launched 35 international cargo routes so far covering five continents. Those newly-opened this year including Hanoi (the capital of Vietnam), Ho Chi Minh (the largest city in Vietnam), Los Angeles, Osaka (a major financial center of Japan), and Seoul.
