Journalistic cooperation should be based on mutual understanding: General Director of the Polish Media Association

On December 4, a forum themed "Communication·Consensus, Integration·Advancement--Greater Bay Area International Communication" took place during the ongoing 5th World Media Summit in Nansha District, Guangzhou, capital city of south China's Guangdong province.

Representatives from China, Türkiye, Poland, Germany, Mexico, New Zealand, among other countries and regions, actively participated in the forum, sharing their insights on effectively showcasing the Greater Bay Area to the global audience.

Ben Bernard Sassi, General Director of the Polish Media Association, noted that journalists from around the world should focus on several demands in the context of bilateral communication.

“Firstly, valuable, balanced and objective information transmission should be a priority. Secondly, global journalistic cooperation should be based on mutual understanding, respect for cultural diversity and clear ethical standards,” he further noted,“Finally, in the era of huge amounts of data, the ability to critically analyze information and fight disinformation should be promoted.”
