Artists bring Indian classical musical heritage to Guangzhou

An Indian classical concert was staged at the Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou on Sunday, showing the unique charm of the country's traditional musical instruments.

As part of the "Vasant Music Festival" organized by the Chaiti Arts Foundation, the concert featured performances by Indian musicians under the theme of "Spring", bringing a wonderful audiovisual feast for the audiences.

The concert brought together Indian musical fans in Guangdong, including Priyasha Sharma, an Indian content creator living in Shenzhen, as well as many local music lovers.

"For me, I was so happy to see the house full, and people were really understanding the language of music, I would say, and dance," Namrata Rai, who performed in China for the first time, told Sharma.

Xu Feiyang, a teacher at Xinghai Conservatory of Music, also expressed her love for Indian classical music, looking forward to more cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and India.
