According to 2024 Guangdong Government Work Report delivered on January 23, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Guangdong province grew to 13.57 trillion yuan in 2023, making it the first province in China to surpass 13 trillion yuan GDP and maintaining its position as the top province in the country for 35 consecutive years. The number of high-tech businesses in Guangdong reaches 75,000, ranking first nationwide.
