This year marks the fifth anniversary of the release of the development plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Over a hundred journalists from across China have gathered in the southern Chinese metropolis of Guangzhou to embark on an eight-day reporting journey starting on June 11.
Guangdong Province has been promoting the development of an internationally renowned bay area and world-class urban cluster of the GBA through the construction of four major cooperation platforms, namely Hengqin, Qianhai, Nansha, and Hetao, focusing on different functional positioning respectively.
