On September 21, the Chinese women's basketball team arrived at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to participate in the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games.
Previously, the Chinese women's basketball team won the World Cup runner-up and Asian Cup championship, which has now attracted unprecedented attention to them. This time, they also fielded their strongest lineup. Four of them are from Guangdong.
A total of 12 teams participat in the women's basketball competition of this Asian Games, divided into three groups.
The Chinese women's basketball team is in Group A with the Mongolian team, Indonesian team, and Indian team. They will face Mongolia on September 27, which will be their first game at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
