To commemorate the 50th anniversary of China-Malaysia diplomatic ties and to enhance cultural exchange between the two countries, Guangdong Radio and Television (GRT) has teamed up with Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) to launch the 2024 China-Malaysia Documentary Screening Week on November 11. Through a lineup of diverse and engaging documentaries, the event aims to deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the people of China and Malaysia.
During this week's screenings, RTM's five-episode documentary series Simfoni Alam (Symphony of Nature) will be broadcast on GBA Satellite TV International. This series introduces Chinese audience to Malaysia's dedicated efforts and achievements in ecological conservation.

In addition, five exceptional documentaries produced by GRT, including "China Next", "Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge", "Xijiang River", "Our Home", and "Timeless Watchouts"—will be aired on RTM and offer Malaysian audience a vibrant glimpse into China's development, especially in the Greater Bay Area, as well as its rich cultural landscape.

Established on April 1, 1946, RTM is the national public broadcaster under the Ministry of Communications and Digitals of Malaysia, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur.
