CPPCC member: We should encourage more GBA enterprises to set up factories in ASEAN

With rising U.S. tariffs increasing export costs, Wang Lizong, member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) advocates for a shift from simple trade to joint production and brand-building. He urges more enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) to establish factories and regional headquarters in ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to enhance global competitiveness.
