It is not going to be a Cold War 2.0: Former President of the UN General Assembly

The 2024 Imperial Springs International Forum is being held for the first time in Madrid, Spain, from December 11 to 12.

With the theme "Collective Action for Our Future," more than 40 former global dignitaries and over 20 experts from China and other countries will attend the forum and discuss global hot topics, including artificial intelligence, global governance, sustainable development, and more.

Csaba Korosi, President of the 77th United Nations General Assembly, told GDToday that the world needs cooperation more than ever as now is the time of tectonic changes. "It is obvious that whatever happens between China and the US, the two countries will have a major impact on the rest of the world. But let me first give you my best expectation: It is not going to be a Cold War 2.0," he said.

He stressed that the relationship between the two countries is mutually assured survival.
