The National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature and highest state organ of power, opened its annual session on March 5. Feng Xingya, a Deputy to the 14th National People's Congress and President of GAC Group, shared his perspectives with GDToday on China's intelligent connected new energy vehicles (NEVs).
Feng said that with the support of national policies for so many years, the intelligent connected NEVs have developed rapidly and are in the forefront of the global automotive industry. As far as GAC is concerned, their tasks this year are to stabilize joint ventures, strengthen independent capabilities, and expand their ecosystem.
Furthermore, Feng emphasized that important measure is to realize transformation and reconstruction, which is actually being planned and laid out around the development of intelligent connected NEVs.
