Lixia is the beginning of summer. Since then, everything has been in full bloom. Our host, Vivian, visited Mr. Peleg Lewi, Consul General of Israel in Guangzhou, with the Chinese traditional gift of Lixia eggs on the day of Lixia. Mr. Lewi is a lover of art and has made many Chinese friends through art. He served his guests with a traditional Israeli breakfast, Shakshuka, and shared the Jewish cultural heritage behind this delicacy as well as Sino-Israeli stories from the past and present.
